These two images of stained glass spandrels are like those at the Croydon branch. They were used in the top corners of the window. These examples were used at the Brondesbury branch, Kilburn, which traded from 1888 until 1969. Game and poultry like the animals and birds depicted in the windows, formed quite an important part of Sainsbury's trade and hare, goose, grouse and pheasant were all to be had in season.
