You now have two choices with the Key Stage 2 Resources. |
KS2 Victorian Britain |
The Key Stage 2 activities encourage the pupils to explore '... the lives of men, women and children ...' in late Victorian society, particularly looking at how they worked and how economic and technological developments in that period affected peoples lives. |
KS2 Second World War |
The pupils, either as small groups or as a whole class, will produce two front pages
for an East Grinstead newspaper reporting on the two separate attacks on the town involving the Sainsbury store. The
first, a raid by a solo bomber, took place on 9th July 1943 and resulted in the death of two Sainsbury
workers and the partial destruction of the store. The second was a V1 flying bomb (or Doodlebug) which landed near
the store on 11th July 1944. |
